There are no vampire cards. I haven't heard of vampires being in Werewolves, but I haven't played with any expansion packs. I would think it would be in an expansion.

Q: How long does it take to play with a group of 8 or 9?

It depends on how the open discussion part goes. The host or game master can manage the time by limiting the open discussion during the day cycle and at the very least, the game master should "guide" the discussion without affecting the game play by revealing pertinent info. For us, each game lasts from 15-30 minutes with about 3-4 rounds. We usually play abut 6-8 games in an evening.
