StarTech Displayport 1.4 Cables 16.4 Ft / 5 M Dp14mm5M

This is a thin cable compared to other VESA Certified Displayport cables, which is great.NOTE: I also noticed in the packaging it states full 20-pin connection (no problem for me), but read on the net that this is not recommended with some graphic cards/monitors.

The cable is certified by VESA for HBR3, which can be verified on Displayport's site using the product code DP14MM3M. HBR3 means it can handle 120Hz @ 4K.It is quite thick at around 8 mm in diameter and stiffer than an ordinary cable, so sharp bends that might kink it need to be avoided.

These Startech DP cables are a bit pricier than some, and quite thick, but they are properly certified and they absolutely just work, no stutters no problems. I have the 3m and 5m lengths, both utterly dependable. Just what you want in a video lead.

As usual the first two Display Cables that say they can do 4k 60hz or 1440p 144hz, didn't work correctly, so I paid the extra the 3rd time and got this and it works correctly now. Shall stick to buying startech when needing 2k plus cables 🙂

Works very well. No issues so far. Thinner than I anticipated as my previous version was somewhere near 8mm diameter. This is nearer 4-5mm.That said it does the job, so I'm happy.
