Don't waste your money!
I ordered these test strips because of the great description they were given. Their performance doesn't even come close. I only use chlorine in my spa, yet I continue to get bromine readings on the test strip. They do not accurately reflect the chlorine level in the water nor do they accurately report the pH. Their app is also pathetic. These strips have caused me to have more problems with the spa water than I would have using another brand of test strips.

NOT good, NOT accurate for me
Terrible accuracy. For the last six years we used the test strips from the local spa supply store. I ran out over Thanksgiving weekend and chose this product based on reviews and prime shipping as I was just refilling the spa from cleaning before winter. Well, you can see from my picture the left strip is the Amazon purchase, and the right the spa supplier strips. Over the last week, a scale has built up on the entire spa...I NOW HAVE TO DRAIN IT ALL AND WASTE A DAY,.plus the cost of additio Al chemicals to clean the system to remove the calcium scale. We have a well , so your source water may vary, BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE STRIPS. I will be returning...

Pay now or pay later. Don't trust overall rating! inaccurate test strips= NO STARS!
I chose to order these based on the reviews and the price. Starting with new water in my spa, the first test result showed that I was low on TA & PH. I added Alkalinity Increaser daily for a week trusting the results of these strips (low TA/PH). After the walls of my spa began to feel like 80 grit sandpaper, I knew I had way exceeded target TA & PH levels as calcium had precipitated out of solution. Untreated, this could run my hot tub.I started over. I dumped the PH of my water using acid, left it acidic for a few days and cleaned up the calcium as it released from walls and pipes. Like a fool, I trusted Amazon reviews and figured I got a bad batch of test strips and ordered more. Dumb mistake. After only a couple of days of seeing the results not change (TA/PH low again using new strips) after a couple of amendments, I had my water tested at a local spa shop. As suspected, the strip results were way off. They told me how to correct my issue and sold me some test strips that proved to be accurate when I retested with them the following week.Save yourself a lot of wasted time and money lost in chemicals by buying quality strips from a reputable dealer. This frustrating experience convinced me to write this first Amazon review and I now believe Amazon reviews to be rigged. I will definitely be changing my buying habits after this experience.

These do not read hardness accurately - or at all!
After using these for a couple of weeks, and adding liquid calcium increaser because the strips were continually indicating low hardness, I decided to pour a little of the calcium increaser (Spa Choice 472-3-3061 Increase Calcium Spa Chemical) directly onto a test strip. The test pad for hardness did not change at all! In contrast, I put a little of the Spa Choice onto my last Frog brand test strip and the hardness pad reads off the chart; as you would expect. So now $15 worth of these garbage test strips are in my trash can and I am back on Amazon to buy a different brand.

Hardiness results are unreliable and inaccurate
Inaccurate hardness readings for my spa. Caused me to over harden my water. I took a sample to the pool store for analysis and my water was off the charts hard after relying on these strips results. My water is naturally soft. I had to empty my hot tub and start all over with fresh water, and a different brand of test strips.
