Valtev Tactical Pen Gold, First Line in Self Defense, Quality Aircraft Aluminium, Sturdy Nylon Pouch Included

I got this because I am pretty good at breaking things. So having a metal pen is very useful. However, compared to my Schrade tactical pen and the Pocket Partners Practical Tactical pen, the metal in this one feels very thin. The pen cap does not fit on the end securely (there seems to be an o-ring to make it fit, but it probably is not seated correctly). General fit does not feel good.I also had to replace the included ink cartridge as it did not last very long. It does take the Parker Quinkflow refills (which work quite well).

Ok, so first of all, I would like to say that this is NOT a bad pen. The gold finish looks stunning and the clip is extremely tight. I received these today in the mail, and it was well packaged. The pen is made of aviation aluminum and not have an actual tip for glass breaking, though you can still probably use it to break a window. On the other end, the cap screws off to the pen, and it writes pretty well. You can't snap the cap on to the other side though, but that's what I want, or else the design probably wouldn't look as good. The clip was slightly off centered, but not so that it was actually noticeable. Another benefit of this pen is that it has a flat rear end. This makes the pen more steady when using for self defense/window breaking, because you can put your thumb over it and give it more power. The pen feels really nice and sturdy in the hand. The only reason why I knocked off two stars was that you can buy a better version of this pen for HALF THE PRICE!
