For some reason I thought these were solar powered and because of that I was disappointed. The lights take four (4) AAA batteries. The light produces a lot of light for its size. I haven't seen how long the batteries will last. I bought these for winter months when our power goes out. I think they will be fine for that purpose.

I had ordered 3 of these lights. When I received them 1 of the lights did not work, the battery compartment seemed to not we quite right. I contacted the seller and they shipped out a new light to me right away with no issues. The new lights works great. I was quite impressed with how bright these lights are. The shipping takes a while, definitely no 2 day shipping on them, but so far they seem to be a good product with wonderful customer service.

Took awhile to post because I just threw it in the garbage. But when I did received the item and went camping, we were setting ourselves up in the tent hooking up this bulb and it was hollow. It was just a shell and zero inside. I was soo angry I dumped it that same evening but never bothered to post. However, was searching for previous item bought in history orders and now wanted to share.

This is a nice little light - takes 3 batteries. It is a pretty durable plastic. Nice glow to it and can't beat the price. I plan to take it camping or when boating since it easily hangs anywhere. Wish they made them here in America instead of China.
