Underwhelming!
This is an expensive recipe book with no illustration, tiny print, small book, un-inspiring dishes focused on the Sirtuin in food. How can anyone stick to this for more than a week unless they were totally desperate? Quality of purchasing these items are questionable. Like the toilet roll saga, this diet hype has caused price of matcha powder to soar and someone must have shares in buckwheat.Much hyped and heavily promoted through many websites, I just can't see Adele would have approved of an diet regime dependent on so many packets of food! Adele may have used it for a short while and don't believe it was the main reason for her weight loss.Weight loss is easy between the ages of 18 - 40 with any diet as long as you eat small amounts of good foods. This diet would not work for people who are obese or older because of the dependance on buckwheat and matcha powder, both non-essential ingredients. If anyone drank just juice for 3 days, they would lose weight - not rocket science!Just like the beauty industry marketing itself with key words, here focus on Sirtuin is sold as the key! Beware of the hype and don't get fleeced! Sirtuin can be found in a lot of foods but a well balanced nutritous diet in small portions is the real key to weight loss.

Life changing
I have been overweight since my teens and have tried and spent ridiculous amounts on every "fad" diet there has been in the past 30 years. I have lost weight numerous times (mostly by attending slimming clubs) but as most people do when getting to target I regained the weight back and more - so being at my heaviest (lockdown did not help either) and hearing that Adele's recent transformation was due to the Sirtfood Diet once again I got caught up in the media hype (or so I thought) and bought this book.My life has honestly changed since I started from day one (middle of May) and I hope to continue on this amazing eating plan for the rest of my life! I do not binge/emotional eat anymore as the green leafy juice makes me feel full and my energy levels have increased. I was a terrible cook but now enjoy cooking the selected 10 or so recipes I adore. I love spicy food so this works for me and I even put a birds eye chilli in my juice each day to satisfy my love of hot spicy things. I lost 8 pounds in the first week and because I am enjoying the food I have lost weight at a steady rate and with having a day "off" (usually on the weekend) have managed to lose 17 kgs in 17 weeks. I have had two holidays in that time and a couple of weeks where I maintained so am thrilled with the result so far. My only regret is I didn't take my measurements as I can defo feel my body shape has changed. I have another 12 kgs to get down to my ideal weight so hopefully can get there before Christmas but no pressure on myself - just need to keep going! Can't thank the authors enough. Truly life changing for me and my husband is grateful the fad diets/shakes and whatever else comes along won't be for me anymore. Thank you

I enjoyed the seven-day programme, although I wouldn't usually do such a 'lose 7lbs in 7 days'. But I lost 8! And discovered some awesome new recipes. I have continued to do the juice, and experiment with my own, and some of the recipes in the book are part of my staple diet now. I also bought the follow-up. The science is interesting if unproven; I enjoyed the book for its approach to healthy eating and lovely combinations that I wouldn't have thought of before. Give it a try.

Life changing recipe book
Love this book. Their first book really opened my eyes to the power of food and I really enjoy the green juice. I lost a kilo doing the diet and it’s easy to follow the recipes and change them. For example I don’t do Joghurt so much so I use a banana or half an avocado for the SIRT smoothie. Super yum! The salads are great. The SIRT bites got taken on a ski trip and we’re brilliant. I was handing the first book out like sweeties in 2017! There aren’t any pictures so you’ll have to be patient and rely on yourself unlike other cook books but that needn’t be a barrier to such a life-changing way of using food.

Worth trying!
After two months following the Sirt plan, I am converted. I have lost over 26lbs and a decent number of inches so far, but I feel extremely well, my sleep has improved vastly, my skin and hair are glowing and I rarely feel hungry.I stick with the 2:2 method as this suits me well. I am very happy to have tried this plan, and am now living the Sirt Food life as a staple way of eating.
