So far so good after three days

I ordered this latch as a replacement to a worn-out OEM latch on my Whirlpool washer WTW7500GC0. The part appears to be of good quality, an exact fit to my washer, and fairly priced. The only variation from the original part was a few extra inches of cable which did not produce a problem. I assume the extra length was to allow it to fit some other models of Whirlpool or Maytag washers. Replacing the part was easy since it is only held on by two star-head screws. However, if one isn't aware of how to remove the washer top and control panel, they should research that procedure on You Tube as it is NOT obvious to the average DIY repairman.

I read a review that this is the exact part for whirlpool model WTW8500GC0. This product saved me $100 buying from the manufacturer. My husband watched a few YouTube videos and we opened the washer and replaced the old part. Very easy.

None of my suppliers had this in stock. I ordered this one slightly higher priced, but I received it within a few days. Installed in a customer's unit and it works great!

Just buy this one the 1st time can't go wrong.

I have a Maytag Bravos XL washer (Model MVWB835DW3) that had the bad lock code. This lid lock replacement was exactly what I needed. It shipped super fast and the price was MUCH better that going with an OEM replacement. If it lasts 2-5 years, I'll be happy. From what I researched, the lock mechanism on this washer type can go bad every few years, so why spend OEM prices. Lots of YouTube videos and took me less than 30 minutes to install. Works great!
