Utter dribble.... just dialogue
This book is terrible. 95% dialogue, no connection to any of the characters, no backstory on anyone. Main character is beyond stupid, the whole “mystery” could’ve been solved in Day One if he wasn’t so...stupid. And the sentence “Are you OK?” Appears at least 600 timesThe answer is no, I’m not OK. I need a better book to get over my feelings of disappointment

Shocking, mind blowing and simply brilliant!
I have never had the desire to write a review for any book I have read, until now, and being an avid reader and writer, I've read some phenomenal stories. This book, as a debut novel is simply brilliant. I literally could not put it down, and every time I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong. I am so impressed by the story, the pace, the twists, the authenticity of the characters, and the undeniable truth that we are deceived more often than we could ever begin to realise. One has to wonder just how much of our own lives are based on fiction while we live blissfully in our ignorance! It's not often that a work of fiction can inspire such deep introspection. Truly truly brilliant.

Spoilers of this male fantasy book.
The majority of the thriller genre seems to be female writers, I was curious to read the male perspective. It was nice in the beginning as it was a 'flip the script scenario.' The story seemed as if the writer was scorned by a woman recently and had to not only make the female lead a bad mother, a horrible wife but, a horrendous person as well. The male lead took full charge of the child and all his needs, worked in a career that was family friendly and stayed home at night while his wife went out. The man was the victim and every boo-boo he endured was painful and worth mentioning. I was so disappointed in this book! The writing itself was good, the details were well created in the actual plot lines but, the nonsense was so overwhelming it ruined the book.

Fast Read with nice twist
Enjoyed this book. It’s my guilty pleasure to read books that arent “profound” or deep and that contain layers upon layers of themes and overtones that must be critically analyzed. There is definitely a place for those books and all avid readers should have such reads in their repertoire...however it’s good to read a holiday book that whisks you off for a few hours where you can just read for pure entertainment sake. This was such a book - entertaining and fun and it even did make you think about how everyone has forever been impacted by technology and social media

Hard to Put Down
What I loved about this book is that it was super suspenseful and hard to put down. I couldn't wait to get home from work so I can read it. Lots of unexpected twists and turns! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that I had trouble relating to any of the characters. I did not like them and felt they were one dimensional. But, I still could not put this book down and recommend it for fans of psychological thrillers.
