Indoor Thermometer —

I love this little thing. Yes, it is little but the font is quite large. Will not take up much room on an end table at all. I bought it to test out my thermostat. My heating is electric and blown out through vents in the floor. I wanted to make sure all the rooms were getting to the proper temperature as it is getting pretty cold up here in Washington and I did not want to call out a pro. So I just take this around to different rooms and leave it alone for 5 minutes and I find out my heating system is just fine. This has Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature and a 12 or 24 hour clock. Runs on one AAA battery which they even supply! Strongly recommend this to anyone who want to know if their heater is functioning fine or wants to know the temperature and humidity in a room. It also will give you the date.

temperature resolution seems to be 0.1 degree F, but I haven't watched it long enough to see if certain gradients are skipped which could indicate a slightly different scale.mine seems to be fairly accurate, but even the more expensive thermometers publish accuracy within +/- 2 degrees F so it's hard to tell.instructions on the device are minimal, but I didn't think the print size was too small. Even if you lose the instructions, I suspect most people could figure out how to change the settings without too much trouble, as I just did for the end of DST.After 2 months, I am still using the AAA battery which was included with mine. If, after the second battery depleats, I am unsatisfied with the battery life, I'll probably edit this review.

This is a rather simple small Indoor Thermometer & Hygrometer. I wanted something at work to give an indication of temperature and humidity. It does what it says it does, but the stand is only good if you placed on your top of your desk or placed at a level below your eyes. I wanted to place on my bookshelf at work, but the display is not viewable from below and the display angled toward the ceiling.For the price, I'm happy. I forgot to bring a AAA battery the first day, but surprised that they include a AAA battery. Not sure how long that will last, but it was convenient.

I use this to substantiate the common complaint that our cubicle space is too chilly for mere mortals who are expected to sit still at their desks all day. The temperature range is 68.2-72.5. The outdoor "real-feel" temperature has been 115F recently. How would YOU dress for that differential? I wear a ski hat, Mr. Rogers sweater, and gym gloves (for typing with.) It gives "business casual" a whole new look.This thermometer lets me track the daily temperature range to chart in a pretty Excel worksheet. That way, I have a record showing that the temperature does not rise at all when someone manages to persuade the maintenance crew to "fix" the thermostat.

I am a little disappointed by the required viewing angle. This would be fine if placed at desk level - about 20 inches below eye level. But I needed to have this on a raised surface. Together with the tilt of the builtin stand, this makes the viewing angle too steep and the lcd background starts to show through. I fixed this by propping up the stand slightly.

I love the size and the easy to use setting buttons. But I would have preferred the time display being the largest of the three readings.I just can't seem to find a clock that is small and has all the features of the one I was replacing . Can't seem to find another one like that. But this will do and it does everything need. I gave it a 5 star since the really does do all that it is suppose to do.

Directions for operating this were printed on a piece of paper 2 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches long. Could not be read even with a magnifying glass. Had to enlarge it 300% and then it filled a 8 1/2 x 12 piece of paper. Was written by someone without a decent command of the English language. The instructions were very confusing. Still cannot turn off the alarm and the symbol that the alarm is turned on is not on. Also had others try to figure all this out and they agreed with my opinion of the product. DO NOT BUY.

The clock loses time, but otherwise this is a very nifty little thermometer. I bought this so I can keep track of the temperature in my office and have a basis for complaint when it is too hot or cold. The LCD is easy to read in good lighting conditions and the battery seems to last forever.
