Another excellent book. A real page turner

Found it a bit hard to get into at first but stook to the book and the book starts to make more sense half way through and is enjoyable towards the end

As A new author for me I will say it was one of the best novels I have read in a long time.

The plot was far-fetched and unlikely, and I always find it annoying when amateur sleuths solve cases faster than the police. Despite that it was an engaging read.

I have read a few books by Allison James and I like how her characters appear so very lifelike. Like real people in real life situations.

This was so well written. I loved the story and couldn't put it down. Best of all, the loose ends got tied up and made for a great read from beginning to end. The characters were interesting and believable, even Marian's shocking behaviour, always scheming to get what she wants, whether a mental illness or just a narcissistic personality, it made for a gripping read. Loved it!

This is the first book I have read by this author and the first thing I did on finishing it was buy another one. It’s a great read, at times a wee bit confusing but keeps the old grey cells turning over.

Just love this author every books is so exciting
