Kimberly-Clark Professional explain that: All WYPALL*X Wipers are made from our patented HYDROKNIT* material which is comprised of soft, absorbent cellulose fibres and strong polypropylene none-woven fabric. The cellulose component allows these wiping cloths to absorb water quickly and effectively, while the tear-resistant polypropylene fabric soaks up more than its own weight in oil and grease. The result is durable and absorbent wipers, which can be used wet or dry.Basically - they leave a reduced residue, so are good for cleaning windows or areas where it is important not to leave contamination like medical environments. They can be rinsed and reused as you go, since they are much stronger than your average kitchen roll. The mixture of vegetable matter and plastic is highly absorbent, but the plastic means that it does not decay. Looking online we find that products made of polypropylene degrade slowly in landfills and take around 20-30 years to become completely decomposed.I like them - I have just used one to clean out a particularly mucky food waste bin, and another to soak up the liquid at the bottom of my other kitchen bin.

Very useful and will mop up almost anything within reason.
Absolutely superb for all those horrible nitty gritty jobs where you need to mop something up. I've used these on worktops with bleach to clean away after a cooking session, used them to clean my shoes. I have a box in the back of the car and use them to clean off the mud after an outdoor photography session down on the Essex mud flats! Yes you could argue it's not exactly great for the environment but if you keep in mind what you're doing then you can rinse them through sometimes after use and get 2 or 3 uses from a single cloth and make sure you get the most out of them. They are very strong and very good at mopping up almost anything you can think off.

Great general purpose paper cloths for around the house and garden.
I have a couple of boxes of these open all the time. One for the house where I use them for cleaning windows, cat litter boxes, bathrooms and work surfaces. There is another in the shed for cleaning garden tools and outside windows. The dispenser is really handy as it keeps the cloths together rather than the big rolls of paper I used previously which would get damp and unravel if dropped. Only issue is having somewhere to store ten boxes (luckily my shed has space).
