In December I found myself needing a new hairdryer. I had the same one for like 7 years and decided I was going to get one with the newer technology, to try and lessen the frizz and static I experienced with each dry. I spent almost 150 on a dryer, and it worked well until it caught fire in my hands less than 4 months later. While I really did notice a great change from the new ionizong technology (well it was new to me lol) I was not going to be spending anywhere near that again. So I began my search again.This dryer is absolutely perfect. Seriously it has it all... 3 power modes, 3 heat modes, plus cool shot, ionizer.. which can be turned on and off! It also comes with the 2 basic attachments, and is really pretty, so my 9 year old enjoys using it too lolSeriously, what else are you looking for in a dryer?Fair price? At $40 this thing is incredible. I would have paid almost double for it.And it works for really well! It doesnt leave me with a head full of static and frizz like the last one.. on the contrary: with the ionizer on my hair dried in about 8 minutes, pin straight and soft... zero frizz. My husband even commented on my hair looking nice... and he does not typically notice things like that. But I could tell too. It dried fast, and didn't feel over-dry. It was actually really nice using this.The perfect dryer in my opinion. And I would totally recommend. A+ on all accounts!And should something go wrong I'll be sure to come back and update review!

Was given a product rated for the US.It may have been a one off, as they messaged to say they're low on Singapore stock and sending it from the US. Pretty big oversight, tho.

I read a lot of reviews and investigated all the technology for hair dryers these days. I think the prices of some seemed ridiculous, but, I wanted something that wouldn't stop working in 6 months.Anyway, I went round and round and eventually decided on this dryer. I like the ceramic and adjustible ion 'technology" is the key language etc. And the fact that Conair has been making hair dryers forever. And tbere is a 3 year warranty from Conair.I have only used it a few times, but am very happy so far. It has some weight, but that feels like quality to me.The attachments go on easily and stay on. The control buttons are in a spot where your hand holds the dryer (but what other option is there, your hand will be on the handle no matter what), but I do not find that I am changing the buttons with my hand at all. I have small hands and the strongest grip will be with fingers not the palm/thumb where the controls meet. In my case anyway.I do notice less static in my hair, but not so much less frizz. That could be my little bit of "frizz" may be more split ends, although I did just get a haircut.Anyway, I would say to go ahead and buy this hair dryer, it is a fair price for what seems to be very good quality and a 3 year warranty.Oh, the noise is less than my other dryer (30% less I would say) and the temperature and blower strength are plenty. I have long hair, on the fine side but a lot of it.So, I would say buy it and try it, I think you will be happy and if not Amazon will allow you to return it.I feel this is an excellent hair dryer at a reasonable price (as ridiculous as the cost of hair dryers has gotten, in my opinion just marketing scams to extort your money). I am thinking of buying another one these as a backup because hair dryers may cost $1,000 in 10 years, and hopefully I will get ten out of this. And most of us just want a reliable hair dryer that does a good job and will last, right?
