Bought to work on arts and crafts, but this product does not magnify anything. It's a scam.A cheap plastic transparent glass and extremely poor quality.Really, think twice before buying

Made of cheap degraded quality plastic...Magnifier is blurry and not clearly focused simply because of the material it's made from...in addition, doent balance well on flat surface till loaded with 4 AA Batteries. It's really odd. I would never recommend it to anyone not even to my 6 six years old kid...Please improve the quality and above all the Magnifier MUST be made of Glass LENSE not (waste of money) type of material

Very bad product i new its a fake as soon as i saw the package .. and i was not wrong .. its too small in size to fit a book page and the glass is not genuien it is a sheet of cheep plastic .. i dont even wan to bother my self returning it .. i should have known that the price is too good to be true.

The item came in a damaged worn out box and was not packed as ‘new’ rather was filthy dirty and scratched all over, including the magnifying lens scratched and it’s stand which is made of cheap plastic. Not worth a penny!

Was bent and damaged corner plastic side when opening the box but fixed by fiddling it back myself. Not very useful as magnifier is not well designed

The quality is very poor

At first I thought it would work for what I needed it to do, but when I tried to read something under the magnification, I saw how warped everything was. It's not put together very well at all, and they really need to use a better quality magnifier. Is is plastic and not glass, but I'm sure they could make it thicker so it wouldn't warp so bed. Returning it to Amazon.

Wanted to like this but it's really junky. I thought at the low price I would keep it if it worked at all well but it doesn't really and it was beat up too-scratched and pitted. Cheap, cheap plastic-I kept looking for a protective film on the screen to peel off and reveal an unscratched screen but there isn't one. Returning it and getting a glass one.

bought this for my mom, who has macular degeneration. It was cheap and wanted to see if a setup like this would be helpful for her to do the newspaper crossword. The light DID NOT WORK, at all, with fresh batteries. The magnification isn't great, she still needed to hold the paper up off the table, without magnification adjustment or an ability to adjust the neck length, it was awkward and near useless.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks the magnifier doesn't work as expected because the text does look an feel warped until you have set to a specific angle and only that way is it readable. The other issue is that there are scratches on the screen and it looks used. I purchased 2 in total and I would not recommend this.

I got this hoping it would make it easier to read small print books. I usually read in bed so it was awkward. I had to try to hold it steady while reading and it got to be annoying. Although it works better if it's on a flat surface and I'm looking directly above, the product is top heavy. The batteries help weigh it down but with the slightest nudge it would fall sideways. It's ok, but I think it would be worth the money to get a higher end magnifier that cost's a little more.
