Marvel Avengers By Jason Aaron Vol. 3: War Of The Vampire

Jason Aaron continua mandando bem nos Vingadores, não é nada genial, mas são histórias bem escritas, divertidas e com ótimos desenhos, falando nisso, essa última leva de novos desenhistas da Marvel é muito boa.

Series gets better and better, this book was great.

Avengers vol. 3 fails the reader and the franchise. Collects issues 13-17 of current series. The first chapter is a separate story of the first Iron Fist from primeval times. Borders on satire, why bother with it in this volume?? The four part "War of the Vampires" plot reads more like a Blade script with the Avengers as supporting characters. Captain Marvel should be able to destroy all of them with her solar powers but both she and Thor are misused. Dracula comes out the winner over the rebel vampires and the Avengers go home with Blade now an Avenger.Marvel seems to have a problem. New series start well but soon devolve into meaningless drivel. Vol. 1 was good even though the storyline had logic problems. Vol. 2 was okay-good but this volume is not worth it. Please send all copies to Chernobyl where Dracula now resides. Seriously, he has traded his home in Romania for an irradiated wasteland in the Marvel Universe.
