Macmillan Children's Books My First Gruffalo: The Gruffalo Puppet

I was very excited about this product, but was a little disappointed once it arrived & I actually read it. Although the puppet is fantastic & very engaging, the story is sadly lacking. It is extremely basic and difficult to make sense of as it is such a heavily abridged version of the full Gruffalo story. It takes about 2 minutes to read through it, even if you draw it out. I wouldn't have bought this if I'd have known what the text was like & I wouldn't recommend it either.

Grandson adores this book-especially as the Gruffalo behaves differently every time! Amaze myself with my puppetry skills! Lol. It seems a much younger book than his age as it's a board book but i reckon will appeal to all from 6 months to at least 3 years. If they like the gruffalo they'll love this! You'll love this! Lol

My 2 year old granddaughter loves this book, strong sturdy card pages and, lovely puppet . I can never read this round her only once!

The book itself is great and my son love it!! A bit disappointed as it said it was used but very good condition and it has a lot of wear. I would said is fair/good condition.

Nice big board book. Cute and detailed puppet. But not much of a story. Would have prefferred more. For under 3's only id say.
