Excellent for my use. You WILL have some trouble replacing your cylinder if you're replacing one on a used chair, so either buy a kit or use a heavy duty pipe wrench to loosen up your old on. Fit my Herman Miller Aeron nicely and has a good range of height for a 6'3 human.

Replacing the gas lift in my chair made it possible for me to put my chair higher. I have relatively long legs, and this also made it such that I have a good posture for using my Sunny Under-Desk Mini-Elliptical.

I bought this to replace the gas cylinder in my old office chair that has become faulty after many years of use. It has been 6 months and it's still holding strong using the chair every day so no complaints so far. Not sure if it was necessary but I removed my old cylinder and measured the inside/outside diameter along with the length to make sure the new one had the same measurements which it did.

bought this as im tall for a X Rocker Messina Deluxe, it doesn't fit as in my chair it requires a 2" one due to the mechanical parts under it, i tried it but even at 5'11" it felt like i was sat on the moon was horrible, however i tried it in my daughters standard chair and it fits perfectly and works brilliantly, these work perfectly but don't do what i did measure yours first lol its one of those occasions size does matter.
