Hilarious! Love the little anecdotes. Reading after long reading rut!

A good read and very entertaining.

This book is really fun to read! Everybody has something to hide and makes up various excuses. The characters are very likeable, and you can just imagine the Scottish Highlands in the snow, with a boiler that only allows for one hot bath per day and an old electric system that goes South in winter.

I absolutely loved this book - a highland farce that was fun from beginning to end, with a pitch-perfect translation by Annie Rutherford. Glorious!
