Protective Vest for Dog to Deter Coyotes, XX- Small, Hawks & Owls

It was too small even though my dog usually wears a XXS. It didn't feel like it would protect her from a hawk attack. I could feel only one sharp point. I returned it.

I had 2 custom Spike Bite vests made for my Goldendoodles. The owner I spoke with was so helpful, and knowledgeable, very responsive to all of my questions. This is a wonderful product and has given me a lot of peace of mind. We have coyotes in the area, and they have attacked many cats in our neighborhood. Our dogs are 14 and 18 pounds, and we worry about their vulnerability. Our final decision came when an unknown dog came into our neighborhood and became aggressive towards our dogs when we were on a walk. My husband and I were able to pick up our dogs and get them out of harm's way. I no longer fear this recurring. The "spikes" are very well padded, the dogs can wrestle and play with no problems. They spikes would not hurt them, and would require a strong bite to actually startle or effect the behavior of an animal meaning to do harm. Our dogs adjusted well to the vests...at first they weren't used to a vest, but that lasted only a few seconds. They love walks, and when I pull out the vests they go bananas with enthusiasm.

My dog wouldn't use the product! (Even after modifying it)Great idea though!
