A little lighter than I expected, but the heater works well, and it's definitely water proof a hundred percent. I work at the road and bridge department, this coat is good. The battery lasts nicely.

Love the coat! It's very warm and wind and rain proof but the heater plug in the pocket gets bent after awhile. I work intermodal and outside alot so I need a coat like this. The battery is a bit heavy which I think causes the plug to wear. I have probably sold a dozen of these coats already from other drivers asking about it. I would like to find a solution to the plug issue, can I change it myself?? 1-16-24 USB plug issue fixed but now I have a zipper issue!!! 2 yrs. after exchange for new coat and can't exchange for new one. Just can't win with this jacket!!!!!!!

MY HUSBAND LOVES THIS COAT ESPECIALLY IN HTE RAIN AND SNOW DUE TO THE WATER RESISTANCE. THAT BEING SAID HE'S MENTIONED THE HEATER IN IT ISN'T ENOUGH TO BE COMFORTABLE ON COLD DAYS WITHOUT ADDED LAYERS. HE SAID "IT GETS COMFORTABLE-WARM BETTER THAN WITHOUT IT BUT, IT DOESN'T GET COZY AND HOT". NEEDLESS TO SAY HE RARELY IF EVER USES THE HEATING FUNCTION AND COMPARED TO OTHER HEATED COATS IT ISN'T AS "HOT".

Very happy with this jacket. Took about 10min to get to full temperature but it does get very warm on the highest setting. Seems to be pretty heavy duty and good quality. NOTE: jacket definitely runs small. I usually buy 3xl jackets to have a little extra room, so since I am using this for work I bought a 4x jacket and it is actually smaller then all other 3xl jackets I have. MAKE SURE YOU BUY AT LEAST A SIZE LARGER THAN YOU NORMALLY BUY. All in all I am very impressed with the jacket so far. Also note that it uses a regular USB plug to connect to the battery, so make sure what ever battery you buy that it has a standard USB connection.

I have a Pioneer HEAVY DUTY AND THICK cold weather jacket (Awesome and high quality 2 years and counting. The photos DO NOT TELL YOU this is a VERY THIN jacket. Gave impression of heated version of thick Pioneer jacket of same size 4X. If their thick jacket fits you, order this very thin version 2 sizes bigger or it WILL NOT FIT! THICK 4X=THIN 6XHighly disappointed with Pioneer not giving correct information. Had I known it was thin, I NEVER WOULD HAVE ORDERED IT. IF IT WOULD have fit, it would make a nice light rain/wind jacket. However it is completely useless in terms of size and insulation.

The handcuffs and waistband are made from a material that water loves… so while you are working in the rain, those parts of you at the very least are soaked. The heated portions of the jacket consists of a strip at your back and at your stomach, which help, but if it is actually cold or breezy will do you little good. Also, please pay attention to sizing… it said women’s small, and really it is a mens small, since I drown in it. Good for piling layers underneath. P.S the zipper lasted less than a month. I now know what to look for I guess.

My dad has been working outdoors since he was 17. He has always wanted something like this. He loves it and hasn’t had any complaints about it so far. He got the medium size, he is 5’8 and is fit. The jacket fits well, not snug, perfect for him.

Bought this coat for my hubby cause he needs one bad but it wouldn’t let me select a size and they sent me a 4 XL

I bought it for 26$ on amazon (not sure why it was so cheap..) The heating is not amazing but other than that the jacket was great so far. Good quality, keeping me dry even when working outside for 8h in rain. It's pretty warm too (too warm to use it for summer as a rain jacket)

This coat is nice but it can be dangerous because I got burned by the coat if you only have the coat over your shirt .....you have to ware a sweater before you put the coat on so you dont get burned ....but other then that coat worms great keeps you nice and warm
