Cool and Dry
This is the best rain gear I have ever had. It not only keeps you dry, it keeps you cool. I have used ponchos and other rain gear that doesn't breath and end up a sweaty mess (might as well have been rained on). Frogg Toggs are light and breathable while keeping you dry. We sat in the rain for an hour watching a concert and fully enjoyed the show without even caring about the rain.

Great for motorcycling
Well built. Will last for many seasons if you take care of it and be gentle when you put it on. The fabric is indeed thin and will tear if you are rough with it. It is very light and compact. When fold down and in its bag it is about the size of a regular box of cookies. This way you can carry it in your backpack or in your luggage. I do a lot of motorcycling and sometime you get caught by rain showers. With this you can continue your trip without getting soaked. Its small size is the main reason I got it. I already have an old rain suit but it is bulky and takes all the place in my backpack. Now I have place for supplies in my backpack.

Light, fully waterproof, and actually fairly breathable.
This makes good emergency rain gear for most people. I use it as ultralight rain gear for camping and it get a few tiny scuffs here and there which I fix with tape. I wouldn't take it through the bush, but for trails and roads it's really good gear for the weight. The only downside is if you're wearing a heavy pack for a long time the nylon straps can abrade away the waterproof coating on the fabric. It's far more breathable than I expected. Now you are still wearing what feels like a glorified trash bag but this suit ends up being more breathable than other lightweight waterproof gear like silnylon. I wore this on a rainy day at near 30 C and very humid just to test its breathability. I walked a few kilometres on a road with quite a few steep hills and didn't actually end up sweating very much.I will definitely be buying more of these because they do exactly what they promise and the price is pretty damned reasonable.
