Rust-Oleum 215367 Varathane, Red Oak, Red Chestnut, Red Mahogany

The fillers from this wax-based Varathane "pencil" blended beautifully into screwholes that remained in the aftermath of my furniture-making project (a new writing table). Hint: If the hole you want to fill (and match to the existing varnished surface) is more than a half-inch deep and wide, consider warming it with a hairdryer to soften the wax before pressing it into place and scraping away the excess. It worked beautifully. Perhaps the illustration shows how it blended into the PINE border which I stained in RED OAK and filled with LIGHT CHERRY varathane pencil. If you don't know what color to pick, "Light Cherry" blends with almost all red-toned woods and any of the "Oak" tones will match the yellow-toned woods. Best wishes and x from Danforth

Another item I use in furniture repair and resporation. THis item matches very well old stained black cherry items. Easy to use and hides small cracks and holes extremely well.

I needed to a quick solution to hiding light chew marks and scratches from my puppy prior to moving out of my apt. It worked!

Worked ok on a small scratch, but on a larger one it just looked like junk filling.

Lousy piece of crayon is what I received , color is not as described. Seller says you cant return if its opened. How do I know without opening this is just junk.

This touch up stick works great. I have dark walnut trim throughout my home. Just rub it on back and forth until the scratch or void is filled then buff it off with a paper towel. Looks great every time.

They work well for filling small holes

This is a crayon. The produce does not stick to the wood. Never buy this product again. It’s also very expensive. Definitely not worth the price. Definitely not as advertised. Not Varathane. Cost over $50 and because I have opened the packaging. I’m not sure they will refund?? How else are do you determine whether the product works. They should have stipulated when purchased that that product can not be refunded if opened.??

Colour didn’t come as displayed. Closer to orange!

Fixes only the minor scratches that are almost invisible already, and doesn’t fix the deep scratches at all.Also, the package was open when I got it out of the bag!!Amazon Egypt’s quality control is worse than the seller’s integrity.
