Variety Puzzle Book, 400 Puzzles, Volume 1

my mother in law is really into saduko for as long as ive known her. i wanted to give her the gift of relaxation and just give her something that she could have fun with as she travels or relaxes, this has a good mixture of all different levels of skill sets and many different fun puzzles to keep her occupied. i accompanied this with the $4 "BIC Cristal Xtra Bold Fashion Ballpoint Pen, Bold Point (1.6mm), Assorted Colors, 24-Count" set(she loves purple) and it made the best gift for a woman i deeply love and appreciate, who already has everything lol great gift! would buy different versions for her and maybe for myself it looks so fun. gel pens would also go very well with this, i purchased a set of AenArt glitter gels and they went really well with the pages.

I liked having a variety of different types of puzzles to choose from, to match my mood at the time.I must say that some of the Sudoko puzzles that were labeled "Very Easy" .... ummm, really weren't easy at all. I even had my adult kids help with some of them and after a while they each said, "That's not easy!" But I still enjoyed doing them, it just took a while to figure some of them out! It's all good :)

A good variety of activities for teens and adults. Esprcially love the cryptograms!A must have to pass time, to relax and to stay sharp!

I love all the puzzles in this book. They are all challenging enough, yet not so challenging that I have to cheat to finish the puzzle. The puzzles are large enough that I don't strain my eyes or make it difficult to put in the answers.When I finish this I will definitely look for Volume 2!There are 6 different Puzzles included:1. Word Fill ins2. Word Search3. Code Word Puzzles4. Sudoku various levels5.Cryptogram quotes6. Mazes Various levelsMy favorite puzzles are the Cryptograms and the Code Words. All are lots of fun.I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys puzzles like these. It's very well done and reasonably priced.

Nice quality book and good level of puzzles--just wish no sudoku puzzles!
