The description reads that the pins are 8" but they are also very thin and not nearly heavy enough. They're much smaller than a normal 12-14oz water bottle. The balls are also wooden but somehow feel as light-weight as plastic. The wood is grainy and chipped and the paint on one of the balls is blotchy. Maybe fun for very little kids but certainly not worth more than $15 or $20.

Safety concerns. Sharp unfinished edges that cut my child's finger when they placed their finger inside the ball! Pins have sharp edges on the neck of the pin where there are groves in the wood, I was shocked to find this product is non returnable and not mentioned on the Amazon page when buying it. This is not at all what I expected from Amazon!.

I ordered them for small kids and they will work for them. They show adults using them in the picture but I’d say definitely more for kids as they are small. 8” as they say but still seem so tiny.

This set was sold as a complete game, but there is no ball included.The pins are too small and light to stand on grass, so worthless for lawn bowling.
