Before I bought this, I had seen a lot of negative reviews. Nevertheless, I wanted to try this, bought it.But now, I am regretting.1. This doesn't work at all. I have never eaten crispy food with this tray. This is not a magic tool. This is just oil rest.2. Many people say. Yes that's right. The wire rack's copper coating is chipping off after only the first use. This can be too dangerous to baby, even adults.

I didn't want yet another appliance cluttering my kitchen but had been tempted to get an air fryer. Then I learned that a toaster oven can do the same job provided that it has a built in fan and an appropriate basket. Well I had the toaster oven (Breville) but not the basket and after much searching found this.I've used it quite a few times now and it surpassed my expectations. Used it for blackened chicken, breaded chicken tenders, battered fish, and fries of course. Chicken has come out lovely and tender and fish was great. Fries are not the same as if they were immersed in oil in a deep fat fryer, but they're still good and it's a healthier option.I've also been surprised at how easy it is to clean. Not a blemish on it to date.If using a toaster oven I'd recommend checking it will fit. Mine is the 0.8 cubic foot Breville and it fits as though it was made for it. It wouldn't fit if the oven were more than just a little smaller.

Flavour is amazing! Crisp outside, tender inside in 30 minutes. So many recipes and all turn out tasty. It would have gotten a five star had the quality of the racks been better. The copper is chipping off the air rack. Suspect happening in the cleaning and only soaking and then scrubbing with a soft scrubby or a surgical scrub. Both are very gentle soft and never scratch any other Gotham pan. Where it is chipped the food is starting to stick making the rack harder to clean. As for the pan, it is not chipping but has grease spots that are difficult to clean off. I use parchment on it as well. Overall it is a LOVE / HATE relationship. I love the food. Hate the quality of product. I am not a throw-away person. I spend more for better quality. Disappointing. Will be looking to replace with perhaps stainless steel oven air fryer...
