Raquel Welch mentioned this product on TV interview
I saw an interview of Raquel Welch and she said she uses 'Bag Balm' on her face before sleeping and it does wonders the next day, etc. I did a lot of rollerskating in my youth and the Sun gave me some skin damage. Since that interview I'm finishing my 2nd order and about to order a 3rd one. I use this balm on a Q-Tip to moisturize my ear canal and the ridges. I use wax earplugs to sleep soundly [since I'm a veteran] and any noise wakes me up. The earplug wax leaves my ear canals slightly dry and chafed. This product is very rich in composition and does excellent job on cracked skin. It works well on knees, heels and knuckles, on the nose, under the eyes - and around the mouth. A light coat and let it soak in. Use small finger to get in ear ridges, behind ears, into elbows, anyplace you have thicker rough skin. This will smooth it out overnight. The key is to get it into the cracks not just over them. Work it in a little with fingertip It works folks and no real scent to it. It doesn't feel messy when applied and drys completely in minutes. It actually gives relief immediately to redness, roughskin and dry itching.

Very handy size
I purchased this smaller travel sized bag balm for an easy to use and carry option. The bag balm can be used in many areas of the body that suffer from dryness or chafing. The bag balm works very well.I would recommend storing the container in a Ziploc bag for container storage, as the balm will melt and leak out of its metal container when in warmer climates.

... he won't walk for long without lifting them up like he is in pain
I bought this product for my dogs paws as ever since it has gotten so cold he won't walk for long without lifting them up like he is in pain. I figured his paws were just getting dried up and cracked from the salt and cold weather. I knew there was no way he would wear dog booties and I would prefer to put this on his paws than the many paw creams they have due to ingredients. When I got down to start putting it on his paws, I realized I was correct why he kept lifting up his paws, but the skin in between his paws was actually what was cracking. I've been putting this on his paws every 2-3 days and they have been getting so much better! On another note, my cat scratched her ear and to help soothe the scratch I put this on as well and it seems to be healing quite nicely. I would definitely recommend this for anyone needing to relieve dryness or scratches their pet may have! The only downside about this product is 1 ounce is very, very small! As long as you don't use too much during each application, though, it should last a while. A little goes a long way with this stuff!

Great Product (Doesn’t Travel Well / Responsive Seller)
This is a great product. Old-timely and effective.(Even though every measure of sealing and wrapping is done by the seller it did not make it intact through the grueling desert delivery process 🏜️ 🌵Seller was responsive and took measures to remedy the problem.)

Except for the odor...
I bought this stuff for two reasons:A) My 3yo German Shorthaired Pointer is forever (okay, 2-3x a year) busting her major pads by running into/over crap she should be avoiding with her gazelle-style frolicing, &B ) The sides of my fingers, along some nailbeds are unusually prone to splitting. With problem A, the stuff seems to suffice. She doesn't object to it any more than she does with liquid bandage or vetwrap. Additionally, she must not find it *that* offensive, because after she cleans off any between-the-toes excess herself, she generally leaves it to soak in and goes about her busy life; Searching out the warmer sunspots on the tile or buring noms in every corner of our house. For problem B, not so much. I don't have any unusual allergies or sensitivities to much of anything, but the smell of this ointment is *so* unappealing that I find myself getting a very uncomfortable headache if I use it anywhere. And the scent absolutely *does not* dissipate over time. If it touches skin, the smell is with you until you use de-greasing/dishsoap. I might try to use it overnight on my feet with sock layering under a duvet, but I can't use it on myself daily. The only other gripe I have it the expense, since its soft consistency (@ room temp) lends itself to accidental accumulation you have to then (rather unhygeinicaly) put back or waste. So, recap: Great for sport or working dog's wound care in regard to soothing cracks or late-stage healing injuries of footpads. Not great for some human use if you are at all sensitive to aromatic topicals.

Best Product Ever
I've been using Bag Balm for at least the last 3 decades. Originally, I could only obtain it from local feed stores where animal farmers, horsewomen and 4-H kiddos would go to get their stuff. It is fantastic on wounds and oddly enough, works really well on dry nostrils. It's great for dry heels and basically anything that ails you. And, it lasts a really long time. You get your money's worth. If you've never tried, its worth the 6$ risk.

Much less product than I expected
I really like this product. I use it on very tender skin that has been inflamed - works like a charm. However, I wish I'd have looked closer at the size of the package. I previously had a 14 oz. tin with the same tin design. I purchased it for just slightly more than this one. I was stunned when I got my package today - a teeny tiny 1 oz. package. I expected a smaller package but not that much smaller! Yikes! Should have looked much closer. Wouldn't want to purchase the 14 oz. tin considering this increase, though the product itself is great.
