This product on the surface ticked a lot of boxes of for us. We could check in to see baby on our phones, play music and white noise, all with a clear and good quality camera.Well, let me tell you. No matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall the app on my galaxy S10 the app crashes every time I try to play music.Most upsetting is that the alerts for movement and sound are inconsistent enough to be completely unreliable as a monitor. The app is designed to be able to run in the back ground on the phone even when the video isn't on the screen. This works about 60-70% of the time. I've heard baby crying multiple times without being alerted by the app that baby was awake. Even with the video feed running, the alerts sometimes don't ping. There's no option to buy a separate video display so we've been forced to have the feed running on one of our phones which means we can't use it for anything else for the duration of her nap times.Honestly it feels completely unsafe leaving baby with this monitor running. Wouldn't recommend.

I will say, I did a LOT of research when it came to getting another baby monitor for my second child. My first monitor was the infant optics DXR-8 which I feel is a fantastic monitor BUT I wanted a monitor that would connect to my iPhone so it could go farther. The infant optics, having a handheld screen that goes with the camera, it reaches to my neighbors living room which is a great range but this, the camera needs to be in a good range to the router in the house but my iPhone can be anywhere and I can see my sons room.This monitor worked in my daughters room which is far away from our router and also worked fabulously in our room which is much closer to the router. The picture quality is fantastic, I love that you can record videos or take pictures and I like that I can use the listen feature for the monitor and still be able to lock my phone and have the sound still be going. The movement with the monitor is absolutely fabulous but the only thing I will say is that I wish the movements were a little finer, you can’t make small movements, the smallest movement moves the monitor about 2 feet and I wish it could go a little less. That being said I still would 100% buy it again. The install was also amazingly simple. This monitor shows the temp and the humidity in the room which comes in really handy.I think the price point of this monitor is a little high seeing as though it’s only the camera and some of the cameras that come with a camera and monitor are cheaper but it still wouldn’t keep me from buying it again since I can watch my son perfectly with this monitor.

I purchased an ibaby M7 in June 2019 for my first child. After 12 months both the speaker and night vision were defective. After contacting iBaby regarding the faults and with my second child on the way, I was offered a 50% refund on purchase of a new ibaby M7.As emailed by ibaby - "You can acquire an M7, M7Lite from amazon or Walmart once you receive your monitor. We would be more than happy to refund 50% off your purchase thru Paypal (excluding taxes and shipping) and we will appreciate it if you could leave a review (5 stars). Once again your time and opinion are highly valued to us".This agreement was never met by ibaby and ultimately deceived into purchasing a new ibaby.

The speaker on this stopped working completely after less than 18mos of use. I’ve deleted it from the app and reset it multiple times but still nothing.Even during the setup process it doesn’t beep or make a sound.The app shows it’s playing music, reading books or sounds but nothing comes out of the speaker. Tried pressing speak in the app and that doesn’t work either.I’d bought this for keeping an eye on my dog and playing the sounds to assist her anxiety. And at first it was great. But it’s pricey for something that doesn’t even last 2 yrs.

Couple years ago I bought M6 model as a gift for my nephew. His is 2 years old now, and his parents still enjoy every feature of that device. Recently I became a father and bought for my baby boy M7 model, which is even more advanced than M6. I don't wanna spend time talking about installation, because it is quite easy, and anyone can do it.Most of time during the week I'm away from home, and M7 baby monitor helps me to be close to my baby and my family. High definition camera provides perfect footage, even at night (so far I've got a collection of unique pics and videos taken by this camera monitor, and hopefully in the future I can make a compilation video), 2-way audio talking feature helps to communicate with my wife (and baby as well) while she takes care of the baby, and no need for her to be distracted by the cellphone. Sometimes I even sing to my baby using that audio speakers. All those sensors that monitor the air temperate, air quality and VOC give the piece of mind that environment around my baby is safe and comfortable. With the feature of multiple users, my baby's grandparents can see as well how he is growing up, even though being in Europe. Very soon our baby will start moving by himself (crawling, walking) and here will be handy the feature of moving the camera pointing direction remotely, in case if baby moves out from the camera's view.I'm excited to have M7 baby monitor. Our family friends expecting their first baby soon, and I'm planning to buy one more of this monitor as gift for them, and I'm sure they will enjoy it the same way I do.

I purchased the M7 Lite and started using it a few months later when the baby was born. It worked very well for about 6 months of use. The picture quality (viewed on iPhones and iPads over 5G home wifi) was very good and I mostly used it at night, and the night vision was good quality too.The 2-way talk feature was good, but I did not use it that much. I also liked the feature in which one can broadcast your own music to the device.The app to control the M7 Lite worked well and was easy to use.The device had to be restarted occasionally if my Internet service went down, but otherwise it worked consistently.Unfortunately, a problem developed after about 6 months of use. Initially, it seemed like a network connection issue, but the device had become non-responsive to the usual restarting, trying different locations in the house, and even uninstalling/reinstalling the device on the phone app. Eventually, I realized it was likely a hardware issue, not a software or network issue. The micro-USB power port in the device itself might have become faulty over time, as the power adapter cable and other micro-USB cables we tried were loose and would not stay in the device's port. The shape/location of the port might make it susceptible to wear and tear just from occasional plugging/unplugging of the power cable.Fortunately, the customer service department was responsive and professional and they honored the warranty (within 1 year of purchase). They responded quickly (same day) by phone and email and addressed the issue by promising to send me a replacement device (an upgrade to the M7).
