Retro Gaming: A Byte-sized History of Video Games – From Atari to Zelda

The title of this book will lead you to thing it is a history of RETRO GAMES as it is called. It is in fact the history ofhome game consoles that I have no interest in. I wanted a book to tell me about Space Invaders & Pac Man - this IS NOT IT - WASTE OF MONEY - it made me so angry I put it into the skip at work !

Great idea for a book, but it has more pictures than words and what the author has written is minimal to say the least...it is more like an extended magazine article and read the whole book in an hour, sorryI bought it

I bought this as a gift for a friend who used to play on the old games consoles. As soon as it was delivered I ended up looking through it myself before giving it as a gift. It's a good book, with lots of pictures and really brings back memories of the old games and consoles.

Was a christmas present for my brother who is in his 40’s, he enjoyed the book. Came slightly damaged on front cover - bit annoying but probably a one off. Would still recommend book though!

Bought as a gift, looked an interesting flashback to classic gaming.
