The larger capacity is a SQL40LDLH

Q: The reel is listed as 30 lbs/360yd left hand. penn website says the left hand (lh) is only for 40 and 60 model. typo or what am i missing?

It's a 40 , not sure why it's listed as a 30 , but mine were 40 when they came .

I bought a SQL 60 LD, which I used in the Gulf. I loaded it with 750 yards of 100lb braid. If you don't need that much lone, go down a size. An SQL 50 LD. If you don't mind spending more money, I'd get a Squall 2-speed vsw30, would take about 700 yards of 100lb braid, and a lighter 2-speed. It would cost about $245 on Amazon. And that 2-speed makes a huge difference with a big fish. I have an vsw60 for fishing big game in the gulf. Good luck
