Not 100% waterproof from the top.
Has small vents on top, I’m using it for a box to store the batteries and computer for a gate opener. The lid has slits for a vent right on top, I just filled them with silicone. There’s a few different points for battery cables and wires to run through in the lid that are “rain” proof. It’s thin, and versatile. The included strap is what holds the lid on, it DOES NOT snap on like I expected.

Has a strap NOT locking tabs like the pic shows.
The image is deceiving. I paid more for this box because I wanted the locking tabs NOT the strap. Be sure to read the description because the lid does NOT snap into tabs. Hold-down strap is provided. I gave it 4 stars because it does appear to be a solid box.

Open vents in top
I bought this because it said it would keep my battery "safe and dry." I returned it because it has open vents in the top allowing rain to come in. This will be mounted on my pop up trailer tongue. I found an exact replacement for the stock box made by NOCO with covered vents on the top for 25% less and bought that instead.

Lid needs to be tighter
OK box, comes with a strap, but the lid needs to snap on, not rest loosely on the box.
