Water changes
My clown locach always had a dull colour and would die so I bought this fish food. And they have a very healthy colour a thriving nowIt's not only the fish food. You have to change the water once a week and very important do your gravel once a mounth that where all the bad stuff is that discolour your water and kills the fish. If your doing the gravel don't cleane the filter the same time. Always either do the gravel. But don't clean filter the same time leave it for a week breake it down say filter every two weeks and gravel every month. Don't forget to use water conditioner. Water changes every week is a must 1/3. So to sum it up water change. Few day later filter cleaning used water out of fish tank to clean them don't used tap water it kills all bacteria and your fish and every month gravel clean I learned the hard way follow these steps and you should have happy fish. O yeah when your doing the water change I use a 10 litre bucket fill it up over half boil the kettle pour hot water in the bucket stir it till it the same tempAs your fish tank and pour it in the tank happy fish keeping

Perennial leaks.
Two things guaranteed to leak when you clean your fluval series filters. First is the stop valves and second is the O RING SEALS. Whether it is due to natural degradation of the rubber or bad design, these rings do not tolerate disturbing them at all. Fortunately, my mega 206 filter only requires 6 monthly clean outs. The stop valves are also a problem each time I remove the filter, leaks from the lever assembly. So best to keep spares of both.

Perfect
It is a rubber sealing ring replacement. Not sure what I can say other than it does the job and now my fluval pump is not leaking.

Stopped the leak 1st time.
I did not believe it when I googled the solution for my leaking Fluval filter was to replace a simple rubber ring as the one on it looked fine. Popped it on and fixed. well chuffed.

My 206 value was leeking so put on the new seal no longer leeking
If your pump is leaking at the side get a seal first before buying a new pump
