Marvel's Avengers: Endgame Prelude
C**Y
Utterly, utterly pointless. Be smart. Don't buy it.
I've always found that these preludes add to and enrich the MCU, effectively giving us a chance to experience events that happen off screen in a condensed format. This 'prelude' does not do that, because this is just a cynical attempt to get loyal fans, who have walked hand in hand with the MCU creators to make it the juggernaut it is today, to part with a considerable amount of money unnecessarily. It is, simply, a retread of Avengers Infinity War in short form. The artwork is beautiful, as always, and Diaz and Almara earned their salary. The one star is solely for their work. But the film was beautiful; it was visually stunning. And all Corona Pilgrim has done is take Markus and Mcfeely's script, remove sections, and rearranged a couple of scenes. And somehow he is now billed as the writer. I'm an academic. We call that plagiarism. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. This may be exactly what he was instructed to do, and Marvel should be so very ashamed for duping fans who trusted them through this entire endeavour, just to add a little more gilt to their already heavily bejewelled throne.DO NOT BUY THIS! Seriously, I can't stress this point any more strongly. It is just an utter waste, and I feel so cheated. If you are contemplating buying this then you're probably already a fan, so I assume you own/have access to most, if not all, of the films. Just re-watch Infinity War for the umpteenth time. Watch it 20 more times before you see Endgame if that's what you want. You'll get more out of that viewing experience than you will from this waste of paper and ink.Oh, FYI, the picture is of the last page of the prelude. And what's that I see? Are the characters turning to dust, just like they do in the film? Why yes, yes they are. I suppose we could give Marvel props for enriching the fan experience in a particularly sadistic way. We felt that sense of a vast emptiness and loss, swiftly followed by indignation and anger, because of events in the film world. And now we get it because of events in our world too. So, thank you?

3 STARS, A little Disappointing.
Avengers: Endgame Prelude retells the story from Avengers Infinity War movie in comic form and because of that it is a little disappointing.

NADA NUEVO.
