Beastie Band Cat Collar Solid Colors (Turquoise)

Nothing to dislike...it's a cat collar and I put it on my cat! As it's all velcro there's no need to buckle or snap the collar to close it... Just cut to size....

The only collar I’ve found that feels stretchy enough to be safe but my cat can’t seem to pull off. And he try’s pretty hard.

I just found this brand a few months ago and love them. My males all pop out of their beak away collars and lost them repeatedly so I’ve had them in a non break away collar for a couple years, which I don’t love either. I was growing more and more concerned for their safety with them so I decided to do some research and this brand popped up. I love it because you can trim them to perfectly fit your cat. They are tight enough on them so it’s not in the way, but if they get caught on something it will stretch out so they can escape if needed. It’s kind of like scuba gear type material. And it’s very lightweight and soft.

Wonderful for our little lemming kitty who would otherwise get her tooth stuck on a non-flexible collar. Lasts a good period of time. We've bought one maybe once per year. Easy to wash. It has never come off our indoor cat. We're confident that if she got outside, it both wouldn't come off by itself and also wouldn't hang her if she got stuck with a branch under her collar. This is what we were looking for.

I would not recommend these for long term use, the durability is not meant for it, you are able to cut to size which is nice cause many collars you cannot. It’s a great value for what you get and a very bright color.

I have used Beastie Bands for years. I have cats that go inside and outside, so it is imperative that they wear a collar with an ID tag attached. Beastie Bands are super light weight and open and close with velcro...so goodbye to the metal fasteners. I have cats that would not tolerate the traditional collars, but with Beastie Bands, they can hardly tell that they have anything on. With Beastie Bands, you don't have to worry about your cat getting caught on something outside, the elasticity of the collar allows for it to slide right off of their heads. I absolutely love Beastie Bands, and will never go back to anything else!

I'm about to purchase a second one of these collars for another cat of mine and I thought I would share my experiences. I bought the first one because I wanted a stretchy collar that wouldn't bother my new kitten and that would allow her to escape the collar if it ever got caught on something. It's been 6 months so far and she doesn't even notice it anymore. Before I bought it I read one of the reviews that warned about the collar getting caught in their cat's mouth. The very first time I tried to put the collar on my kitten, something similar happened. She tried to bite it and it got stuck in her mouth. I quickly realized that I had made the collar too loose and she was able to grab it with her mouth. I highly recommend paying close attention to how it fits your cat when you first put it on and observing the cat to make sure something similar doesn't happen. But as long as you have it fitted properly, you shouldn't have any issues.
