Clogs toilet as it does not appear to degrade in water.
As the headline states this tissue, for all its virtues, has a serious drawback. Unlike tissues made from wood, Bamboo is less degradable in water. It does not turn into the mushy pulp-like state that other tissues sold in the UK need to do and therefore presents a larger problem to the immediate environment as well as to the water treatment systems further down the line.I started to wonder why I was having issues with toilet blockages and stated to blame my son but repeatedly found that the tissue was still unaffected by water when clearing the blockages. So I decided to test this. I took three separate sheets, placed them in three basins filled with the same depth of water and left them for 3 days, five days and seven days respectively. At the end of each period I could lift the intact tissue out of water and shake it before it started to show any sign of degradation or distress! It did not fall apart at first contact. I was able to remove each intact from the water without any special care. I was not trying to prove that I could be so delicate that I could successfully remove this tissue intact no mater what. I lifted just by one corner, giving it every chance to fall apart and prove me wrong. This needs to be addressed before I would consider using it again, if ever.

BLOCKS DRAINS
Caused my foul waste to block. Never had an issue since 7 years ago using a thick luxury brand of loo roll. You won’t notice it blocking your pipes until it is too late, we had switched to this approx 4 weeks before it blocked the drains. Cheeky panda Website states it’s been tested to degrade properly! Sent an email to cheeky panda and told if I have “sensitive drains” to not use 3 ply loo roll. Revisited these reviews and was able to see tons of people had the same issue. Shame as I stocked up and was happy if found an eco friendly product. The tissue simply doesn’t degrade quickly enough. We do not have sensitive drains I think tmw have a good system here. And guess what, blockage happened on Christmas Day! Had someone come out a couple of days later at a close of £120. Could t even get an emergency plumber so had to stay with family. Took days of cleaning and bleach to sanitise our patio. Absolutely disgusting. Almost as disgusting as the lack of warning when buying this product that it can causes issues.

Avoid! Costly Mistake
We've never had blocked drains at home, and then within a month of using Panda loo roll, we had our first blockage, and then a second shortly after, the first requiring an expensive drain cleaner call out.Didn't realise what had caused it after the first time, but the second time it was clear based on what came through..Do a test, put a piece of this and a piece of any other loo roll in water, and see how this doesn't break down at all. That'll sit and clog your drains up.

No problems here
After ordering these, I started to have second thoughts after reading some of the reviews here about not 'degrading in water' and blocking drains. So nefore using, I did a test in water to compare against the main toilet paper brand, and found that both broke up in a similar way. I don't know why a few other reviewers appeared to have different experiences, or whether the manufacturer could have made changes to the product - but I felt I should feed this back, given I was initially a bit worried by those reviews.

As a crohns sufferer I get through loads of toilet roll . Not the softest but lasts twice as long as other stuff . Very impressed and it's on my regular order ..... I'd say 9 rolls equate to 18!9f other brands .... well they seem to last SO long
