2.25“ Duty Belt Buckle

Had an inexpensive nylon gun belt with a plastic snap buckle which would never hold. Easily replaced with the metal 2.5" cobra-type duty belt buckle. Solid and well built. Looks like a long-term solution. Already ordered a couple more for other belts. Recommend!!!!!

One of the few that fit a heavy duty belt, right size.The problem I am having w it is that it is not as easy to clip on as the plastic buckles I had used. Plastic is not a reliable material for the long run, but it was easy to fast buckle in.This metal buckle seems to hinge in or out of line while linking buckle ends, or flap at the duty belt attachment causing complications clicking it in. In darkness or by feel buckle-in is not easy since the attachment requires finer motor skills. However, once you take the time to click it in right it works fine.Unbuckling seems easier to me, but ease of buckling in and out is superior in the plastic bucles.

I’m overall pleased with the buckle. It can be a bit tricky to get lined up to buckle. I have suspenders on my duty belt that take the weight off my hands while putting it in. I use a Velcro inner belt also. I know it can be a pain trying to get your duty belt exactly where you want it with Velcro. No problems so far. Great product, great price.

This is not a long term review but an initial impression of the product. The quality was better than expected and after putting it on my duty belt I can not get it to accidentally disengage. I was concerned after seeing other cheap cobra buckles disengage under moderate strain and also after bumping one of the triggers open but this one has surprised me and seems like a good deal for the money. Again this is an initial impression and only time on the road will put it to it's limits. Will try and remember to post a long term review in the future.

Works great! I had to put a little oil on the buckle due to the clip being stiff, but after that, works like magic. I replaced the cheap plastic buckle on my duty belt with it and I couldn't be happier. Well worth it.

Faulty after 1 shift. Went back to a plastic bucket for reliability.
