I don't use my AeroPress on a daily basis at home, but I carry it when I travel. Recently I was staying in a rental condo and, of course, had my coffee press with me. One morning I started to make my coffee and discovered, to my dismay, that I had accidentally thrown this part away the previous day! AAAGGH! (The trash was long gone, no digging through a trash can to find it). This part is vital for using the press. I went online and ordered this replacement immediately. No more coffee on my trip, but when I got the part, it fits perfectly. I was thrilled to find that I could get replacement parts and didn't have to replace the whole AeroPress. If this is what you need, it will do the job.

I lost my Aeropress filter and searched my kitchen and garbage with no luck. I empty the filter into another container just so I don't accidentally trash it, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I assumed that's where it ended up despite my best efforts to avoid exactly that.So I ordered another one and it was delivered within a day.Then I found the original filter under a measuring cup that I missed in my earlier search. Of course.If you do lose your filter or if you just want a spare, this is the actual replacement part and it fits perfectly.
