Orifice is not the right size
It fits, and is constructed properly, but the orifice at the pilot fitting side was way too large. The flames from my pilot light hood shot out like 4 inches. Pinching the orifice closed did not solve the problem. It just made the flow poor - gas started coming out of the air mixing ports. Now I have to buy another and hope it doesn't have the same problem.I would recommend getting 2 or three of these to increase the odds the orifice will actually be sized correctly.
