Measurements wrong
Product looks great but the Measurements were wrong for me. I can’t return the item so have two tiny hardnesses that I cannot use. I’d love to try the medium and large but cant risk getting the wrong size.

Overall a pretty good harness
I keep looking for something more jacket like for when winter comes, but these are really the most secure harnesses we've tried.Pros- The strap on the back is a great place to grab a freaking out kitty and not get scratched.- They're very adjustable. As soon as my cats grew to no longer be between sizes, they were about as secure as I think they're going to get in a harness.- Mobility in these things is fantastic. The vest style harnesses always seem to restrict their shoulders so they walk oddly.Cons- There is no overlap between sizes. There was a period that both of my cats were between a small and medium but neither of them fit. I couldn't clip the small because they were too big, I couldn't adjust the medium to be small enough to be secure. That cats have different builds, one is stocky and the other is lanky.- There's a little plastic stopper near where the leash clips in that's supposed to be an adjustment point. It worked on one harness at first but not the other. Eventually it didn't work on either one.- The leash is too short to be useful once they get into exploring. The unactivated bungee is only 4 feet long, so they're only a couple of feet away from me. Cats start and stop a lot when they're moving around. So the cat will start moving, feel resistance, then look back at me wondering why I'm stopping them. I do like the bungee feature as a gentle "no", I just think it needs to be longer.Tips- If the harness seems loose but the girth is snug, first check to make sure that the logo piece is in the middle of the chest. If that's fine but it's still loose, the strap on the top needs to be shortened. Notice that if you pull on the D ring it snugs up the chest portion. Ignore the plastic stopper that's meant to be for this adjustment, it's unreliable. Instead, tie a knot in the harness next to the D ring. You may need to mess with the location of the knot a little, so don't make it right at first. Double check that the logo piece is still in the middle of the chest. The knot will hold far better than that plastic thing and it won't move around after you take the harness off.- Do not pick up a panicking cat if you can possibly help it, you'll get very scratched up. I don't care how sweet and calm your indoor cat is, if they hear a bang or a weird noise that you might not even hear, instinct is going to take over and they will fight you until they calm down and act like nothing happened.- If your cat starts to back out of the harness, don't pull! This is how cats escape from harnesses, by backing out of them. Instead, walk towards them. Either keep following them until they turn around or grab the harness on their back to hold them in place. If they're panicking, talk soothingly to them until they calm down, it's unlikely to last very long.- If your cat runs away from you but is still secure, you should be fine. The best hold this thing has on them is when they're facing away from the leash and pulling. Let them pull out the bungee. You can either stay put or follow.- I noticed a review from someone who's tied the leash to something and the cat got away. I haven't seen a harness yet that I would trust unsupervised with my cat.- Give you cat easy access to a carrier that they like while adventuring. It's a place they can hide and feel safe if the world is to big and scary. It also makes it really easy for you to take them home/inside if things aren't working out that day. My carrier has mesh on the sides, when we first started the cats felt a lot safer in it when I put a blanket over it so they could have a cave. Be sure you're good at getting the cat into the carrier if they don't want to go.

Secure, doesn't pull on the neck, and mostly tolerated by the cats :-)
I have come to really love this harness for my two cats. I originally got a vest harness, but the cats HATED wearing it. They either wouldn't move, or they crawled around like dopes. From the start they were much more chill about this strap-based harnessed, and now the only thing that they fuss about is putting it on--but that is a minor inconvenience. It's pretty simple to put on, and they know they have to tolerate it if they want to go outside.I liked the design of this harness much better than other strap harnesses because it doesn't have a loop around the neck and one around the ribs. It distributes the load over the chest and shoulders, which is a WAY better option in case the cat gets scared and bolts. (Which both of my cats have done from time to time.) Unlike the ones that wrap around the neck and ribs, this one is more "complicated" in that you need to make sure a leg doesn't end up on the wrong side of one of the straps, but that's pretty easy to spot and to correct. My cats are 9 and 10 pounds and the medium-sized harness works fine for both. As I said before, both of them have tried to bolt in it and gotten yanked back and didn't seem to get hurt. Neither of them have ever escaped from it. The only problem I've had with it is that one of the buckles cracked and I had to get a new one, but I wonder if I didn't step on it at some point--the cats knock it off the shelf sometimes as a request to go out.The leash that comes with is on the shorter side. It's perfect if you want to keep the kitty nearby so you can see what they are chewing on, etc. But now that the cats are pros at being outside, I got a retractable leash so they can chase grasshoppers without too much impediment, and it has been working great with this harness. Plus, the retractable leash allows me to let out a lot of slack when the cat is rolling around in the dirt so they don't get tangled up. With the leash that comes with, I need to either untangle them when the roll or crouch down so the leash lays on the ground. In summary: love this harness. A couple little quirks, but it's the best I've found for my cats.

Great cat harness!
I was surprised how well this harness worked on my cat! A little confusing getting it on correctly but once you do, it works great! I bought it specifically for one of my cats I can no longer let roam outside, something he was used to. He never skipped a beat! He appears to moved very comfortably wearing it. None at that falling over like they're paralyzed on their side. LOL So far he hasn't got out of it either. Of course I'm very careful to keep the leash part behind him. I'm very happy with this product and happier I ordered it! I'm sure my cat's happy too. He may not be able to roam anymore but at least he gets to go outside a little bit. I followed their size chart & the harness fits him perfectly! Recommended product!

Good!!
