Didn't last a year
Garbage. Lousy image. Didn't even last a year. A lot of money for garbage.

Excellent value
I have used this camera across a wide variety of temperatures and it performs very well, images are easy to use and a nice amount of customizable features on board. Better resolution would be nice, but it is good enough for many applications, and exactly as advertised. My only issue has been angling the camera to get a good overlay of thermal data on top of visible image in hybrid mode, which can appear misaligned. Still, for the price, I think everyone should have one of these.

Great new IR camera model IR0280H for instant and accurate body temp measurements
Bought this camera to use in a business environment for office visits. First impressions of the packaging and the way the unit feels are good. Provided with a nice case. Comes with manual, USB charging cable 16gb memory card and manual. I previously had devices from PerfectPrime and was satisfied with them. I especially liked their CO2 meters as I found them most accurate among other I have tried. So before purchasing, I read reviews on their other thermal cameras and noted flaws people were talking about. However, this camera seems to be addressing issues with other cameras they have. So my experience here is as follows:1. Upon powering up, it took a bit of time until it booted into the android OS. I went to the menu, and did a factory reset. This seems to trigger some sort of an update, after which the camera boots much faster now. Now note that it only takes about 10-15 seconds to boot for the first time. When it’s in stand by mode, the power on is instant, which is nice. No delay whatsoever. The camera is very easy to use. I didn't even read the manual as it's all self explanatory.2. The screen’s initial brightness setting is at 50%, and it’s bright enough to use even outside with moderate lighting. However, if you set it 100% it’s very bright, so there are no issues using it outside. This I read was previously an issue with their older cameras3. I first switched the camera to non-human mode to check how it measures the temps in general. Found it quite accurate at close and far distances. I’d say a few degrees of variation for distant items is normal. But it’s very convenient to use in camera more without IR filter to quickly measure any object temperatures.4. Now, to it’s main feature – the human body temps detection. It’s actually quite impressive! The temps measure speed is virtually instant. So measuring it in an office environment gave me an idea instantly about the visitors temps. As soon as they walked in an office, the camera provided instant temperature measurement on a moving subject. That’s something I did not even expect. And the accuracy is very reliable in my experience up to 3-4 meters. It probably works further than that, but that’s how the camera was positioned. I mounted on a small tripod and placed it on a reception desk. We had no incidents with high fevers that day, but one child had 37.8 at the forehead region and the camera detected that immediately and sounded an alarm.I tried different adjustments, and found that the way it’s configured from the factory is virtually optimal, although I liked the wide-gaussian filter to be the most accurate for measuring the body temps.I like the fact that lens are not just a close up lens. It’s probably close to a 50mm camera lens, where you don’t have to be too far away from the subject to get a good body area, which is usually a problem with other thermal cameras.I also had a chance to compare it with FLIR camera, and found that this camera outperforms FLIR as a human temperature detector because of its accuracy, much faster SPEED, convenience and overall design to be a specialized human body temp camera. It also has automatic image capture for people who have fevers, which is great. When I looked that the memory card contents, I found that is captures CSV files with all temps readings and meta files of all measurements.I’ve owned other similar devices in past but find this to be the best of them and can actually replace all of my home thermometers as well. :) Good tool for family use as well.Other things I liked is having an option to replace the battery when needed, touch screen and ability to store images on an external memory card.As for the improvements, personally I’d want to be able to tweak and adjust the IR sensor temps and to calibrate it to my needs. Sometimes, depending on the environment you’re in, the human skin can reflect different temps in cold environments, so a compensatory adjustment is a must in my opinion. I find that the IR sensor resolution quite sufficient for body temperature measurements, I don’t think you need a higher resolution for this purpose alone.By the way, in order to turn the fever alarms on and off, you have to press and hold the main trigger button on the handle for a second or two. But once the mode is on, you can adjust the trigger temps with left and right buttons.Overall, in my opinion, if you need to quickly and reliably measure passing visitors for temperatures, this camera seems to be a great solution.
