I ordered the same day 3 "Boutargue Classique", one for me and two for my siblings in California. We all were pleased with the product and the shipping. I was taken by surprise that the day after placing this order, the supplier increased the price by $5 or 15%. By ordering three at once, I assume the supplier thought that his product is very popular and therefore should be more expensive. This price increase is disappointing and I will never buy again, even though I like the product and I will shop around to find the same product at a reasonable price.

Obviously an acquired taste. But having enjoyed this since I was a kid and had it much closer to its source I know what it’s supposed to taste and feel like.This was full of flavor and not dry, great the way it’s used in southern Italy, grated like Parmesan on pasta especially pasta with seafood. Even better sliced and eaten with good bread as an appetizer before seafood dinners.

I'm not an expert. Tried one or two times to decide it's not my favorite. It doesn't mean it is bad. It depends what you personally prefer
