I’m not really very positive about this sheath, it looks impressive but in use is a bit frustrating. First thing I did was adjust it to fit the Leatherman, very easy to do And I got it to the point that it held the tool securely, but, and it’s a big but, because the sheath is a hard plastic the tool rattles with every movement. It’s not so loud that people are startled when you pass, however it is very noticeable to me when I ware it. Also, the sheath clasp does not hold it to your belt tightly regardless of how you adjust the fitting, when you remove the tool the sheath moves in such a way that removing the tool becomes a two hand job. My belt is 1.25”, the opening on the belt clasp is 1.75”. Very frustrating, really wanted to like this sheath, it does look very cool but in use is disappointing.

The case is garbage out of the box. The case I received for Leathermen P2 Free would not adjust properly. P2 would rattle around inside the case , the tension screws need to be tightened down. This causes the tool to be so tight it wouldn't come out of the case. I did try different adjustments, no matter what, it was either loose or too tight.The Fix? 3 tension molds inside the case. I filed down the middle mold w/ minor adjustments on the two side molds. My P2 to fit almost perfectly after filing. I used a dremel with sandpaper bit and small file

Wow, this is actually very well made. I was not sure what to expect, but I don't like taking my belt loose just to attach my multi tool every time. Wanted an alternative to the leather and nylon sheaths. I did see some reviews about poor retention but I did not experience that on mine. I have to say I have not found anything I dislike about this so far. My P2 fits perfectly in there with an audible and tactile click. I can turn it over and try to shake it out and it stays put. Meets my needs and I recommend.

Update: second one broke in a week. Clip rivets and screws came off. Adjustments only go so far. Either you’re in a fist fight to get your tool out or it’s falling apart. Where’s the happy medium. Initially, this really impressed me. Versatile and solid. Rivet came apart after one week. I cannot afford to lose a tool. It’s my livelihood.
