A Giraffe Goes to Paris

A gift for our 8 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it. Giraffes are her thing.

My daughter, who loves giraffes, was facinated with this book (7 yrs old) and I actually enjoyed it too. Amazingly engaging for a child's book. It also had a good deal of vocabulary that created "teachable moments" and showed some creative problem solving skills! Great book for a classroom too!

Reads just like Hotel Budapest, and just "kidsy" enough to keep both kids and adults entertained and educated. My personal favorite in our kids library.

Item was a gift for Xmas and Arrived with a tear in the corner near the spine on the back of the book :( Was disappointing as there was not time to ship back and re-order in time prior to leaving for the holiday.

This book is clearly aimed at very young children, but I think it's multi-level. The younger kids like the pictures, the older kids like the story, and the oldest ones actually catch onto the historical facts! Overall it's very well presented.
