Charred Wood Sculpture- Extra Large Shou Sugi Ban sculpture These series of wood sculptures are made from interesting left overs when we split wood.The process is, we tipple charred the wood, followed by sandblasted to force every line in the wood to become defined and curvaceous . The effect is stunning! The end result is like petrified wood and any place you put your sculpture you will love the organic and super chic effect. Its a very strong piece that would go really well where something strikingly original is needed. After the piece was completed then 3 layers of semi gloss poly wore added on top to give it more protection and increase the color depth.
