I bought these looking for an alternative for my Harbinger lifting grips which I lost, I had the harbinger for about 2 years and never had an issue with them, mostly used for heavy lifts as in dead-lifts and shrugs.Now the Cobra Grips, they do look amazing and more sophisticated than the harbingers, but I found the Velcro lace too long and distracting at times, and it required a lot of tightening to get the desired grip.Seems like the padded gel pad in the harbingers worked better for the heavier weights as well, and the lifting piece was a little bit longer than the cobras, which made it better for wrapping around the bar.TL;DR, Cobras do the job, but I'd get another Harbinger next time.

Last pair of straps I will ever buy! I just recently got these and as long as they don’t rip, I don’t think I will be buying any other straps ever again. These are amazing! So comfortable! And the grip is second to none! Grips are comfortable for both my wrists and my hands. I sweat A LOT and my grips tend to suffer because of this (bar slipping out of my hands) but with these leather straps it feels like I have glue on my hands. Conventional straps hurt my wrists after a bit because I make them extremely tight, but with these I can make them as tight as my heart desires, it feels like clouds on my wrists. No matter how heavy the weight, there isn’t any pain anywhere, wrists or hands. Best straps out there! You won’t regret them!

I purchased the PRO Black Leather Cobra Grips and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the product. The style is by far my favourite on the market, and the quality leather, stitching, and design comes together perfectly (while being much cheaper than alternative grips on the market). It is also very comfortable and functional: the padding feels very nice (and makes sure the grips don’t slide around during a lift), and it helps in my lifts so much that my max deadlift increased by 30lbs from my last session. Another nice added benefit is wrist support; I personally put the grips on during my bench and squat to help with wrist stability. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is serious about bodybuilding or powerlifting.
