If money is not an issue, this is THE best off the shelf food you can give to your dog. When I switched my Lab and Goldy to it I could see the difference in their coat, and they just can't get overweight on this food. Unlike most of the "high-street" brands out there, it's almost impossible for your dog to become overweight even if you give more than the recommended portion because Orijen contains no starchy ingredients like corn; it's important to read the contents on the back, the first 5 items make up the majority of the ingredients. On brands like Royal Canine you will see that corn is the first items, and every dog I've seen on such brands is overweight!
