Good chair... with issues
I read plenty of negative reviews about this chair prior to purchase. I am sad to say that they are all true. My chair arrived without the proper hardware to assemble it, and the audio system wiring seems to have some faulty connections.I happened to have the correct size and thread of bolts on hand; but due to the poor fit of the armrests, and the very poor fit of the metal nuts inside of the chair's wood frame, I was only able to get 2 of the 6 bolts for the armrest to tighten properly. I was able to fix this problem by using drywall anchors and screws in place of the threaded nuts to secure the rest of the bolts. The sound works, for the majority of the time. Every so often it tends to make a noise like an old dial up modem... slightly concerning. The built in sub really works well, enabling you to actually feel the sound from the chair. It is definitely a TV chair by design, much too short for the average computer desk. I switched the original base with that of my old worn out $20 computer chair, giving it adjustable height and rolling wheels. In spite of all the work to get this chair usable, I really do like it. It is comfortable, and when the sound works it really steps up the immersion. The chair looks really great, and with the different base makes it a good size for any average adult. The original base limits the chairs use for console or controller based games. The head rest adjusts to the perfect fit, this chair just fits like a glove. The best part of the chair is its looks... Absolutely love how it looks at the desk.Great chair... if you have the time and the patients to make it work. Much too expensive for the level of initial problems. But the final product is great.

Fail
Never have I wanted to write a review so quick on a product. I received the product about 12 hours prior to writing this review and I was very disappointed in what I got. I previously owned a chair by this company, it was a rocker version and a different model. The previous chair, I loved the chair and that made me wanting to purchase another one in my future. This chair is poorly constructed, the holes on the arm rest to put screws in to connect to base are not even. When placed where the hole are, the metal does not line up properly, I caught hell trying to mount the arms. Also the holes on chair are poorly drilled, they are not lined up evenly. Moving on from that aspect, the connection for the audio; I am baffled it is different from what I had on previous model, picture of product and from what is displayed in instructions. It is suppose to have RCA connection on chair for gaming systems or if you want to connect it with another chair, THERE IS NO RCA ON THIS CHAIR! It is only 3.5mm audio ports for in and output, headphones and USB. Luckily it comes with a adapter for RCA to 3.5mm, but you can only have one device connected at a time. This product was NOT worth the $190 I paid for it, at max probably $100 it's worth. I recommend X PRO Series rocker, I have heard more positive feedback on that product compared to this

Adequate, worth the price
Just got the chair today, unboxing was pretty standard, then the dreaded "some assembly required". It wasn't a BAD assembly, everything got right eventually, though at points I almost thought that they were using my muscles to resolve some fabrication issues, the base installs pretty standard, I wasn't impressed with one bolt tap actually being slightly cut into the battery compartment, but no blood, no foul. The instructions are slightly above average for readability, they clearly were designed by someone who actually assembled one at one point in their life, and there were no obvious errors. I DO wish that they'd have more than one size of base pillar though, the only one given is rather tiny, but given that the alternative in this class is typically on the floor, I'll take it. The tilt/swivel base is pretty standard, but clearly at this point, you're seeing why it's a budget chair. The arms, oh dear, the arms. This is the point where I really started thinking that they were using my muscles to cover their fab issues, it takes a LOT of horsing and tennessee windage to get things to fit right, but when they do, it assembles relatively easily, albeit one has to watch pretty hardcore to avoid cross-threading the screws, as they're pretty fine-threaded. Actual use seems pretty decent, the sound quality's what you'd expect from the main 3W budget speakers with 15W sub and it certainly looks like the amp likes to be loaded, it hums without a load, so if you don't use it 24/7, you may want to plug the power cord somewhere you can yank it. The jury's still out about durability, but I can TOTALLY see me buying one again when they're on sale. Not sure I'd pay full MSRP for one though, the value proposition breaks even IMO well below the $200 range.

Satisfied
The only reason this chair got a 3 out of 5 instead of a 5 was because 2 of the holes for the arm rests are not aligned correctly. Somewhat annoying.. even without all the screws in place, they (the arm rests) are firm and not wiggly. The sound/bass is perfect and crisp, it's quite comfortable to sit in and easy to put together. I recommend also using a ottoman to kick your feet up. Crazy comfy!! Took me about 10 minutes after opening it to assemble the chair. Little overpriced but I got a discount so I am very happy with my purchase :) chow.

don't buy this
arm bolt holes don't match actual holes. most bolts go in crooked. bought 2 of these for my kids and had to return 1 because all 4 bolt holes for one of the armrest stripped out. poor quality for such a high price. don't buy this.
