Product came in as described, a bit shorter than the original factory cord but I prefer it like that.

Good quality for such flexible wire covered with fabric.

Good Quality cables, works excellently fine.

Works perfectly with my macbook pro.

For external HDD...

After about 10 uses, with my seagate hard drive, i plugged this into my dell laptop which is only 6 months old and everything immedialtly went dead. I turned the computer back on and tride the cable with another hard drive. Again it went completely dead instantly and this time the computer would not turn back on. I had to contact dell techincal support and after an hour of problem solving, eventually got the laptop to come back on. THey advised that it was this usbC cable which casued the shut down, probably due to a short circuit. If i could return this cable i would but i have had it longer than the return period. I will never buy a cheap cable again as you get what you pay for. This is a poor quality cable and I would reccomend you do not buy it.

I needed one of these to change from USB-A to USB-C on my Orico 2.5" HDD caddy. I didn't mind the price overall, but compared to purchasing other longer and similarly braided cables, it did seem quite expensive for the size.That said, great cable, just enough flex in it some that even if my caddy has a SSD or HDD in it, the caddy stays where I put it. Cable is very well made and had zero issues with it. Aside from my usual cable maker preferences (UGreen, Anker), I'll add this one to the list.

I bought this to enable me to back up images to a card reader when I was travelling. It worked fine the first time I used it (unfortunately well after the return date, thanks to Covid). The second time, it took ages to make a connection. The third time, it failed completely. Do not buy this! It is a complete waste of money.

Just what I needed to replace the USB cables on my external hard drives so they work without a bulky adapter hub on my MacBook Pro. Makes the process of connecting the hard drives much easier, especially since they wouldn’t work with just an adapter on the end (don’t think they receive enough power through those)

I bought this to attach an external hard drive to my laptop as that has a USB C port as well as the usual USB A type 3 ones. The drive came with the usual USB 3 lead, so this lead frees up one of the USB A ports on the laptop for other items.So far it has worked perfectly and seems pretty tough - hence the 5 stars - will change if anything goes wrong in the future!
