I am half deaf and a dvd without closed captioning is useless.

Do not buy this if you live in the United States, it doesn't play here.

John Wayne plays John Wayne and he plays him very well. . Do not buy if you are a student of military history, physics or racial equality. Do buy if you are a fan of the Duke. Fortunately, I am a fan. A product of its time, but entertaining. This film did not change my life, but pleasantly whiled away 90 minutes on a rainy afternoon.

My disabled brother loves John Wayne and I quite like him too. We watched this film together and thoroughly enjoyed it.
