RoadPro HANDYHOOKCD 1.75" Self Adhesive Metal Handy Hook

The hook works decently, but the adhesive isn't particularly impressive. It may work okay on a plastic dashboard; I haven't tried yet. I attempted to adhere it to a semi-smooth wooden cabinet (from IKEA). Finish was white, not totally smooth, but while this did stick it fell off after about 10 minutes holding the microphone from my icom radio. I have used other double-sided tapes and had them stay fine, but this one doesn't.

Works well! The adhesive pad on back is of high quality..it does HOLD! When you install the hook, be sure to prepare the surface using alcohol cleaner before the installation to remove any dirt, grease or film for a better adhesion. This is my second 'hook', they are great.

this is a good item but you have to have a straight level dash in your car to use this item.
