So far so good.
I just installed this starter on my 2008 Yamaha 25HP 2 stroke outboard. I tested the starter and it seems to work great. Time will tell though. I'm usually on the water every weekend, so it'll get plenty of use. Fit and finish was just as good as the original Hitachi starter.
