Extremely disappointed in this purchase.Here's why: There is thick plastic stitching protruding from the place where the strap meets the sole. These are like actual medical stitches—hard stiff and stitched individually. With stiff ends that stick out just along the seam. Imagine every time you wear the sandals that you searched out on Amazon that about 20 vicious and unrelenting needles poke into the soft part of your arch. You tell me. Does that sound like Birkenstock's definition of comfort? Do you enjoy blood coming out of your arches? Do you want to be tortured with every single step? Is it possible those reviews I read that said these aren't really Birks and that people were being fooled were right after all?Okay, I thought as I wiped the blood off and wrapped my foot in gauze. I can fix these. So I tried to cover these seams with bandaids and moleskins. No dice--they poke through anyway. I have tried sanding them down with a nail file. Nope. Doesn't work. I'm starting to look for flexible caulk. Seriously. WTF right? Is that what it takes to get a decent pair of sandals?I couldn't find these in my local store, so I bought them here. Dumb. Dumd. Dumb. Now I seriously doubt these are real Birks. I look at them and I am sick. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for decades and I have never had an issue like this. Just awful. Avoid. Really.

Be very careful when purchasing Birkenstocks from here, many sellers have fakes! I purchased two identical pairs to try because I'm between sizes--the Habana Oiled Leather in 39 and 40. The 39s from the seller "Bayou Birkenstock" had the quality I was hoping for, with soft supple leather and a comfortable footbed. They also came in a real Birkenstocks shoebox. However, the 40s from the seller "Sole Provisions" came in a plastic bag had thin, stiff leather that looked and felt fake, and even made a squeaky sound when I walked. Bear in mind these were supposed to be the exact same shoes! I returned the 40s and in the future I'll buy from Birkenstock directly. I recommend that anyone buying them from Amazon does it through Prime so you have the option to return a counterfeit pair.

Birkenstocks never disappoint! I wear a ladies’ size 7 and I now have three pairs of sandals in 38, they fit me perfectly. (I have narrow feet, so I did purchase the 38 narrow size.) These copper colored Arizonas are gorgeous and were definitely worth the splurge. My only advice is that if you get them make sure you know how you want them to fit… snug or on the looser side. They will stretch and the buckles will leave a mark on the leather. I wish I had kept the straps tighter and had let them stretch. At first I thought I had them too tight so I wore them looser. They got too loose for my liking and when made them tighter, I noticed the buckles had already marked the leather and now I can’t do anything about it.

I know there are a lot of fake Birkenstock’s out there, and I was apprehensive about getting these. I did a lot of research before taking a chance. They ARE the real thing. I have had a lot of Birkenstock’s in my day, all of them bought in a store or on their official website. This time I had a gift card for Amazon, so I was determined to use it.I only wear Birkenstocks (I live in Texas where it’s hot or warm pretty much all year), so I am obviously a fan. They are prizey, but worth the money, I think. I wear mine all day, every day and they last me 1-2 years. Quality product.As usual, they have to be worn in, and they become softer and more comfortable the more you wear them. They are hard when they first arrive, but wear them around the house the first week or two, and you’ll be good.The pictures are after I wore them for about two weeks.They shipped from Leipzig, Germany and arrived with DHL, after just 2 days. I was very pleasantly surprised since they weren’t supposed to arrive for another month!I did read somewhere that Birkenstock will only sell their shoes through Amazon until April 2019, so be aware of that.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE birkenstocks and own several pairs in a few different styles. I was truly excited for these to extend my season. I put them on and I was in heaven!! I sure did have a surprise on my feet later that night when they were stained/dyed black. I scrubbed with a pumice block and still couldn't get it all off.(Pic is after scrubbing) A 3 year old told me my feet were dirty and I needed a bath, I was embarrassed in my pedicure, and my husband asked what "those feet" were doing on on our duvet!! 😳The shoes were so comfy I decided to keep them anyway against my better judgment. I figured it was because they were new and it would be done. Nope. I was wrong. Dye ruined my pedicure too when the fur touched light nail polish. I also have bald spots where there is now no fur. What is underneath the fur is very unpleasant to the foot. It's like a sticky pleather, my foot catches on it, and it makes an annoying noise. They of course showed their true colors 3 days AFTER the return policy. I'm not pleased with $140 shoes that last 33 days/4 wears. Not cool Birk. Save your money.

This shoe was and still is superbly comfortable. I couldn’t believe the cushioned support from a cork footbed “flip flop” style sandal. The shoes go with everything and the color is the main attraction. However, after only wearing them August, September and part of October, the shoe is beat-up! They look as though I have had them for years and wore them through rugged terrain. They were only worn on grass, pavement or indoors. The leather is scratched, ripping or actually looks more like peeling and the buckle is scratched and tarnish. I will no longer wear them other than around the house or to do messy outside work. They are actually embarrassing when on my feet and look old, beat down and dirty. For the brand and price tag, I expected to get a lot of use out of these. Hoping Amazon will stand behind the product they sell; as it was Prime, and either replace or reimburse.

Would steer clear of these. I ordered a pair for a summer vacation, I was suspicious when they arrived in a plain unbranded cardboard box, no accompanying information or documents - at first glance look like genuine Birkenstocks, but looked a little closer, seen the smeared glue, moulding defects and rigidity of the footbed, it became obvious these are likely counterfeit, all-be-it fairly convincing counterfeits.I would advise anybody looking for a pair to spend the extra £ and buy from a reputable high street supplier or direct from Birkenstock. Returned.

Ho comprato queste Birkenstock modello Arizona per sostituirne un paio vecchio di 5 anni che usavo come ciabatte sia in inverno (con calzino) che in estate.Questo venditore aveva solo il modello a pianta stretta e - avendo dei piedi magri - l'ho preso perché ero curiosa di provarlo da sempre. Devo dire che a me calza perfettamente, però ci tengo a ribadire che NON SI TRATTA DI UN MODELLO PER TUTTI(!) chi ha pianta larga o problemi con le dita, si astenga dal comprarlo!La differenza di larghezza nel plantare non è grandissima (1 cm in meno nel punto più largo) ma per le persone coi piedi a pianta larga può fare la differenza (ho fatto un calco delle due scarpe prima di buttare quelle vecchie, che allego, e potete vedere l'effettiva differenza di larghezza).Io ho un 39 e da sempre compro un numero di meno per le Birkenstock. Calzata perfetta col 38.Spedizione velocissima, e sono stata davvero contenta perché quelle vecchie stavano cadendo a pezzi e iniziavano a farmi male i talloni.

I didn’t keep the pair I ordered. Loved the colour, but the fit was a bit off.They are genuine suede but of the floppy sort, so the top of the sandal didn’t hold its shape well. The straps were very long too and if had kept them I would have had to add an extra couple of holes for the buckles.The footbed f the sandals was apparently the “soft fit” I wasn’t aware that Birkenstock’s did this. I am used to the firm footbed that eventually moulds to the shape of your own foot.Because of the various oddities of this particular pair of Birks I can only give them 3***s They were unusual for Birks and I have to have at least one pair of Birks in my life at any time. If you are new to the brand don’t let this one strange pair put you off, Birks are the best sandals you will ever wear.

Come si vede dalle foto i sandali sono arrivati con delle sbavature di colla é questo non deve accadere su ciabatte da 60 euro, comunque dopo aver contattato l'assistenza, amazon ha immediatamente rimediato. Consiglio di acquistare un numero in meno, io di solito porto il 42 ma con birkenstock prendo il 41

They say to order your normal size for these, so I ordered 46 (11.5) as this is what I normally wear, but they were the size of canoes. I then returned these and got the next size down 45 (10.5) but I've had to ask for my money back on these as well. The raised toe ridge just seems to be in the wrong place, in order to get it under your toes where it's meant to be you have to jam your feet so far forwards that your toes are then pressing against the raised front of the sandal. When walking your feet won't stay in that position, so you end up with the ridge under the pads of your toes. If the ridge was a bit further back it would be fine. A shame because they look sturdy and well made other than that.
